Day 14: What’s on My Playlist

Music has always been important
to me. When I was little my parents mostly listened to country, so that was
almost all I knew growing up. Well, that and when my mum would put on 80’s music.
Since then my music tastes have expanded. Picking a favorite artist or song is
pretty difficult, but my playlists have categorized them with ease.

This playlist is filled
with exactly what is says: absolute bops. I have songs ranging from ‘Crush’ by
Tessa Violet to ‘Raspberry Beret’ by Prince. I created this playlist
for songs that are uplifting (or at least have a beat that is). You want to
feel good, listen to this playlist.

This playlist has music
all the way back to about the 40s up to what the radio considers “oldies” which
is the 80s and 90s, which isn’t old. Whenever I’m in the mood for nothing new, I
go right to this playlist, also filled some feel-good songs.

This is the playlist I listen
to to help me calm down or just chill. The songs aren’t all sad or slow, but
they are relaxing to me. It has artists such as Dodie, Bry, Tini, Jamie Lawson,
Michael Bublé,
and a whole lot more. If you know those artists, then you know the gist of the
rest of them.

This has to be the
weirdest and most simple name for a playlist ever. Each letter is the first
letter of the first name of each artist on this playlist: Shawn Mendes, Harry
Styles, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Niall Horan, Dodie, and Sigrid.

Those are my go to
playlists, but I listen to a whole lot more. You can follow me on Spotify
to see what else I listen to or use my playlists, artist list, and songs to
create your own. Also, if you have songs, artists or playlist you think I might
be interested in, please send them my way because I thoroughly enjoy finding new
